What I'm Wearing: Tangerine Love

Payless wedge heels (black version)

Spring has finally hit Ottawa and I am one happy gal! If you follow me on instagram you got a sneak peek of my change room pics from when I bought these super bright jeans last weekend. I love a great deal and could not believe that I scored these jeans, blouse, and heels for a grand total of 50 bucks. Ahh, I love it when that happens. Coloured denim is one of my favourite trends but considering that it is just that, a trend, I don’t want to shell out a ton of money for items like bright tangerine sunglass-requiring skinny cropped pants. On the other hand, I don’t mind investing a bit more for quality pieces, like this great leather jacket, from which I know I will be getting tons of wear! I bought this jacket two years ago on sale for $150 and it’s absolutely been worth its value.

So, my friends, I leave you with my super original shopping tip of the day: quality over quantity. (But let’s be real, who am I to judge if maybe you happen to own 30+ pairs of shoes...variety is the spice of life!)

    1. Louboutin, oh how I wish - my favourite designer!! The only time I've even considered that big of a shoe splurge was for my wedding (but I ended up going with a beautiful and classic Jimmy Choo pair instead). Thanks for checking out my piece of the blog world all the way from Dubai!
